So DISGUSTED!!

So we have put our house up for sale. Yes, I know we are crazy especially with how the market is and we just finished our basement. But the Lord definitely lets you know when you are supposed to do something. Anyways about a week ago we went through some homes. One of the homes was beautiful!! Until you got inside. We walked in and I thought I was gonna throw-up because it stunk so bad! We had to watch where we walked so we didn't step in dog crap! And yes, these people still lived in this home. There was dog poop and kitty litter everywhere!! We could not even walk down the stairs because there was so much kitty litter. It was disgusting! I am sorry but if you are trying to sell your home that is not the way to do it! Sorry if I have offended anyone but I thought it was gross!

Tis the season to be freezin'

Over the christmas break we took Addy sledding! She did not enjoy it so much. I'm not sure if it was because her dad took her down one of the biggest hills there was or if it was because I made her look like the little boy off the Christmas Story and made it impossible for her to walk! I have to say, I think she looks pretty dang cute! We did enjoy having some family time together and Addy did like being pulled around on the sled.

So for New Year's Eve we went to my sister's house and did the usual, play games and have lots of good food. A couple days later I was downloading my pictures to my computer and found these. I guess on new year's eve my brother-in-law and nephew got alittle board and this is how they entertained themselves. Gotta love 'em!

Santa came to town

We had great Christmas this year! I love this time of year. I love spending so much time with our families and friends! This year we really tried to make it simple and focus on the true meaning of Christmas and not get wrapped up in to much of the wordly things. The best gift for me this year was my wonderful family and spending time with them.

Addy ended up getting up extra early on x-mas morning, not sure why! We went down stairs and the first thing she saw was her kitchen. She was so excited she didn't want anything to do with any of the presents. But after mom and dad started opening them and she saw that there were more toys she suddenly was interested. Soon after opening the presents Addy and Daddy fell asleep on the couch, they were both pooped!

Later in the afternoon my family came over , we had tons of fun! Kayla and Addy fought over the toys the whole time. Addy got to the piont were she started hiding the toys, but Kayla learned very quickly where she hid them! It was funny to watch them.

Twas the night before Christmas...

Addy got her new x-mas pj's on xmas eve. I think she thought my new pj's were hers also. She was very excited!

Every year we have Kevyn's family party on Christmas Eve night. It is always great to see everyone and there is always great food!

We are ALIVE and CRAZY!

Yes, I know I have not posted in some time but things have been a little busy for us the last little while! We FINALLY got our basement finished and that is a huge relief! And I absolutely Love it! I mostly love not having to stay up until midnight or later working on it! So just when I thought I was gonna start getting sleep again Addy had to get sick!! And then Kevyn got sick and then Addy got sick again and then yes of course I got it as well! So trying to keep up with all the holiday craziness and life has not been the easiest with having all of us sick. Luckily it is the week of Christmas and we are all doing better! I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Addy's new thing is to help me do the dishes and play in the water. ( I let her do it once after my sister was telling me her little girl loved to do that.) And now she has to help me every time! Last night she also gave herself a bath while helping me!

She loves to go outside and watch Kevyn play in the snow. She won't touch it, she just likes watching Daddy!

We took her to a Jazz game with us and she did great! She loved watching the game and cheering along with the crowd!

Trying on make up!

Last Saturday I was at work like usual and Kevyn was home with Addy. When I got home Kevyn showed me these pictures. I had no clue what was on her face! What happened was Addy went into the bathroom and was playing in her little cupboard that she is allowed to, but then she found mommy's make up. She decided she wanted to ware mascara also! Some how she got the lid off and started applying! At least she knew it went somewhere on the face, right?!
