Summer Highlights

It has been to long since I last posted some pictures! Things are finally starting to settle down a little and we have our computer situation figured out. It has been a very busy summer, but we have had lots of fun! I just can't believe it is over! I have to say,though, I am very excited for fall!! Here are just a few of things we have been doing this summer.

This past weekend we went up to Peach Days. Grandma bought all the girls a wond and I found this cowgirl hat for Addy. She is obsessed with cowboy hats(everything is a cowboy hat) I am not sure where this obsession came from.

We have gone on a few camping trips. Here we are at Mill Hollow, one of our favorites. We went up over Kevyn's birthday with his parents. Addy always has a good time with Grandma and Papa!

Here we are at classic water park. We got season passes so we went every week. All Addy talks about is going to the "baby waterslides with Kaya"(kayla).

Addy jumping on her "gump". This saved my life while we were trying to pack! Addy would spend hours out on the tramp!



Every year we got up to Island Park with my family. This year we took the little ones horse back riding. Addy loved it at first, then she started freaking out so daddy had to get on with her. She still didn't like it until Lucy, the horse, started sneezing. She then thought it was hilarious.

I am still here

It has been awhile! Lots of things have been going on. We are now in our new home and are loving it! We had a few bumps trying to move, but everything worked out. The day we were moving we found out we would not be able to get the keys to the new house. But we should be able to get them the following day( Friday). So we moved everything to my sister's house. We moved half the stuff into the garage and kept the rest in the moving truck. Well Friday we found out it was not going to happen that day either. So we unloaded the moving truck and filled the garage to the max! We hung out at my sisters house for the weekend praying it would happen on Monday. Didn't happen on Monday. Finally Tuesday we got the keys to our house! Thanks so much Angie and Troy for letting us take over your home! And thanks to everyone else who helped us move and watched Addy for us! We appreciate you all! We have been here for about 5weeks now and still have a bit of unpacking to do. I just don't want to do it! We don't really have a place for our computer and printer yet so I can't download any pictures on to here so the pictures will have to wait. We have been enjoying our summer going camping and going to the classic fun park water slides every week, Addy loves that place! It's just crazy that summer is almost over! It has gone by way to fast!!

We are moving

Well, we have finally sold our house. We still don't know where we are going to be going. We have made a few offers on some homes but have not heard back yet. Hopefully we will hear soon cause we have to be out of here in 2 weeks. Things are gonna be alittle crazy for the next month so I probably won't be posted much for a little awhile. I just want to say thanks to all you Hunter Village girls for your great friendships!! I will miss you guys so much! Please keep in touch! Thanks for 5 great years!!!!

Cinco De Mustache

Yes, I know I am alittle late posting these, but I just got them. So every year some of the guys from Kevyn's work does this. They start growing out their facial hair April 1st and grow it the whole month. Then on Cinco de Mayo they shave everything but the mustache. All I can say is I am glad, no more facial hair!!

Disneyland

We went to Disneyland with my sister Angie and her family. We had so much! If any of you have never been with your kids I highly recommend it!

Addy LOVED seeing all the characters. It was so much fun to see her face light up when we saw one. She had her little autograph book that all the characters signed, she thought that was the neatest thing. After someone would sign it she had to show everyone, it was so cute! Pooh and Pluto were her favorites.

Her favorite ride was "Bumbo" (Dumbo), and the Jungle Safari (with Uncle Troy). She also loved Toontown!

We totally wore her out! We went none stop from when they opened to when they closed. Addy wasn't the only one who was worn out! After we were done at Disneyland for 3 days we went to stay in Newport beach and were very excited to go and relax on the beach, wishful thinking for us!! On our way to Newport we got in an accident, yes in our rental car, it sucked! But any of you who know me, I tend to get in a wreck where ever I am!No one was hurt, thankfully, it was just a pain to deal with. We ended up having to stay an extra day, so we thought great we can go to the beach! Wishful thinking again, Addy ended up getting so sick! She was running an awful fever so we ended up staying in the hotel the whole day!! Despite everything that went wrong we really did have a great time and we can't wait till we go again!

Happy Easter!

Easter morning Addy had found that the Hop Hop ( Easter Bunny)had visited our house. She was so excited that he left her a present! We did a little Easter egg hunt for her in our back yard, she thought it was the greatest! She now thinks we have eggs hidden everywhere. And yes, I put sponge rollers in her hair, she loved it as you can tell! They didn't work out quite like I was hoping they would. She ended up pulling them out so we just had to use a curling iron.

Later in the afternoon we went to my sister's house and had more Easter fun! The kids had another egg hunt and got spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Angie and Uncle Troy!
We also celebrated my Mom's, Melissa's and Taylor's birthdays. We hope you guys had a great day! We love you!

Happy Birthday 2 Addy

I can't believe Addy is 2! She had so much fun for her birthday! We took her to Build-a-bear, where we got LuLu the monkey and she got her first bike, which she rides 24-7! We had an Elmo party for her, which she loved! A big thank you to our families for making her day so great!
I just want to right a few of the things Addy is doing and saying now(So I can remember). She has started talking so much! Some of her words are

Pooh is the word she uses the most as you can tell. We sometimes have to guess what word she is actually referring to. She loves to make me and Kevyn go to bed. She will walk us to our bed, cover us up, give us a kiss, say bye and then shut the door. We are working on the potty training and she is finally off the bottle HOORAY, HOORAY!!! We are still working on the binky! Addy has taught me so many things (even though she is 2) I have to work at some things everyday and yes it can be a struggle but I am so blessed to have such an amazing little girl!!
